This is the personal portfolio of FayeC, a Toronto based web designer, Brazilian expatriate, who adores technology in general and web technologies in particular. You might be wondering where the name FayeC (pronounced Faye-C) came from. It is actually a nickname acquired in the old days of IRC when picking a nick that wasn’t already in use was quite a chore. I tried taking Faye but too many people were using that regularly and I could rarely connect using it so I added my middle initial and voilá! I have been FayeC since 1995 and haven’t looked back.

This site is a way to display and showcase some of my personal projects, new technology trials and any cool stuff I find in my daily crawling of our vast world wide web.

As for job status, Web Designer II is my current title at my full time job where I have been for the last 2 1/2 years and in this time I haven’t taken many new personal projects but have kept up to date with the current developments in web design. Since making a move to full CSS and XHTML compliant code I have been open for new projects as a commitment to increase the number of web standards compliant sites out there.
