I just received a reply from Oliver Thereaux (from W3.org) letting me know that they had fixed a server problem that was causing the I/O error yesterday. I had submitted the bug after testing the validation on several sites and getting the same error. I did test the validation this morning and all is well FayeC.com is 100% valid css 2.1.
